The first half of the match ended goalless, but with the resolute of the Egyptians, the jinx as broken in the 65th minute, when 19 year old Ramadan Sobhy's shot after a deflection ensured that the Super Eagles dreams ended right on the pitch.
With the Win, the Pharaohs have now secured a place in the tournament, as the lead the group with a total of 7 points.
