Jose Mourinho, has finally responded to rumors surrounding the absence and out-of-sight of Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The former Borussia Dortmund man, has not featured for United since the Manchester Derby of September 10th, this in part, is due to an injury he suffered during the international break.
According to the club's website, Jose is quoted as saying - "Henrikh Mkhitaryan needs time to adapt to English football". Mourinho confirmed that Mkhitaryan is no longer injured, and is working hard on his fitness. He also backed the Armenian to become a "top player" in the English League. "He is not injured, sometimes I confuse the word 'fit' in the English language. Sometimes you can say that it is 'not injured', but you could also say that you are in great condition and ready to compete. That is different for me, as we use different words in Portuguese for the different situations. Mkhitaryan is not injured, he is training with the team 100 percent".
