US Opens : Serena Advances To Quarter Finals, As Venus Crashes Out

In what appeared to be a walk-over match for Serena, she defeated Kazakhstan's Yaroslav Shvedova 6-2 6-3, to hit a record 308th grand slam match win in Arthur Ashe Stadium court.

The Nigerian contingent to the 2016 Paralympic Games, has arrived in Rio, Brazil. The team comprising of 23 athletes, and 12 officials, departed Abuja on September 1st en-route their journey to Brazil.

Super Eagles Gets 10m From Akwa Ibom Government

Super Eagles May Not Qualify For 2018 World Cup

Rohr, was appointed as the new manager for the Super Eagles by the NFF, on a monthly salary of $40,000, with a mandate to take the Super Eagles to the 2018 World Cup.
