The Akwa Ibom State Government, has gifted the Super Eagles with the sum of N10million, following the team's win over Tanzania in Uyo on Saturday.
Manchester City's Kelecchi Iheanacho scored the only goal of the match with just 12minutes left on the clock.
It should be of note that however, Super Eagles won the match, but will not be going for the AFCON 2017 tournament.
Meanwhile, the Coach of the Super Eagles, has come out to say that although the team won on Saturday, but they were wasteful with their chances. The victory was important to boost the team's confidence, especially as the World Cup qualifiers starts soon.
