After 38 Matches, The EPL Season Comes To A Close


After 38 Matches, the English Premier League Season ended yesterday 15th May, 2016.
The final day of the season, saw Arsenal leap frogging to earn themselves a silverware, with a 2nd position in the league, after already relegated Newcastle United thrashed Tottenham Hotspur 5-1, in a final show of redemption.
Meanwhile, Manchester City played out a 1-1 draw with Swansea City in Wales, placing them just below Spurs, and earning themselves another season in the UEFA Champions League.

Although Manchester United are yet to play their final game against Bournemouth, after the scare at Old Trafford, but it all but means that United will have to Win in order to be above Southampton, and also equal an 18-goals difference in order to place above Manchester City.
With Southampton's 4-1 win over Crystal Palace, they sealed qualification for the Europa League, while Liverpool can no longer qualify for the competition following their 1-1 draw against West Bromwich Albion. The eds, can however still qualify for the Champions League by beating Sevilla in the final of the Europa League.
Manchester United's Match against Bournemouth has been rescheduled for Tuesday May 17th.
