Security Company Apologizes For Bomb Scare At Old Trafford

Old_Trafford_evacu_2866565nChristopher Reid, boss of Security Search Management & Solutions Ltd(SSM), the company that misplaced a package which forced Manchester United's game against Bournemouth to be called off, has admitted that the blunder could affect his business.
United have blamed the company for leaving a fake bomb training prop within the stadium, after they carried out safety drills last week.
Reid has apologized for the error, but was fearful for the future of his company.
"The mistake is entirely mine, I have to take full responsibility for leaving the items behind", the former police officer told reporters outside his residence on Monday.
"The firm is probably about to go into liquidation".

"I'm sure they're having meetings at the moment to see which guillotine they're going to use on me. I have to take responsibility in the end, I won't shirk my responsibility".
"It will come out I'm sure. I don't now what I'm allowed to say, what they want me to say, or anything like this, so I don't want to compromise that at all".
"There's a lot I want to say to the fans, but I don't want to do that now. I've actually spoken to a couple of people who were there and they said don't worry about it, everybody was fine".
"I said as long as no one was injured, and I'm really sorry they had to miss their game".
The game has already been rescheduled for Tuesday. A win or draw for United, will see them qualify automatically for the Europa League.
