Guardiola Should Have Been United's Manager - Cantona

Eric Cantona made 143 appearances over five years at Manchester United
Since the big announcement of Jose Mourinho's takeover at Manchester United, comments have continued to troop-in, raising the speculations that Jose will not last at United.
Eric Cantona, believes Manchester United are getting the wrong manager. He however pitched former Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola as the rightful choice for the job.

Cantona believes Guardiola's style is more in keeping with the United tradition
Guardiola is set to take over at Manchester City in the summer.
Guardiola and Mourinho's moves marks the continuation of the rival between the two managers, and this time, they are inches apart in the same city.
Cantona, who is synonymous for his success under United's former manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, thinks Guardiola's attacking brand of football is more suited to the United tradition.
Speaking of the former Chelsea boss, he tole The Guardian: " I love his personality, I love the passion he has for the game, his humor. He is very intelligent, he demands 100 percent of his players, and of course he wins things. But I don't think it's the type of football that the fans of Manchester United will love, even if they win. He can win with Manchester United. But do they expect that type of football, even if they win ? I don't think so.
"Guardiola is the spiritual son of Johan Cruyff, I would have loved to have seen Guardiola in Manchester. He is the only one to change Manchester.  he is in Manchester, but at the wrong one."
Cantona even said he would be happy to return to the club as manager one day, adding: "I do many things and I'm very happy. But if they asked me to become the manager of Manchester United, I would.
Mourinho is expected to be announced as manager in the next two days
