Andy Murray, has won the Rome Masters, after beating world no. 1, Novak Djokovic in the final. The Scot triumphed 6-3 6-3, to claim his biggest clay court title ever. Murray becomes the first British player since 1931 to win the tournament in Italy.
Just one week ago, Djokovic defeated Murray in the final of the Madrid Masters, but Murray's victory will come as a boost to him seven days before the French Open.
Djokovic praised the 29-year-pld ; "Well-done Andy, You did a great job today. You were just too good".
