My Favourite Footballer Isn't My Husband - James Rodriguez's Wife

James Rodriguez, is going through a tough time at Real Madrid this season, a situation which has left him frustrated, as he has not been able to secure a role in coach Zinedine Zidane's team. 

Rodriguez's wife, Daneilla Ospina, the sister to fellow Colombian team mate and Arsenal goalkeeper, David Ospina, spoke via Colombian radio on Sunday, opening up on a wide range of topics. Some of the issues she raised as part of the player's frustration, were centered around him not been able to secure a permanent shirt in the team's first choice team. She stated - ''For him to have to be on the bench is not easy, he is very competitive, and always wants to play, it is more personal frustration than with the coach''.

Daniella, during the course of the interview, also revealed to the shock of everyone that her favorite footballer is not her husband, but her husband's teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, and Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta. Asked why this is so, Daniella had this to say - ''I admire a lot and it's kind of weird to say it, but for me Iniesra is one of the best players. Cristiano is a different position, and he is very powerful, but on a soccer level, I like magic''.
