The family of the late Shuaibu Amodu, has announced that the 8th day Fidau prayer for the former technical director of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), will hold this Saturday, June 18th.
Amodu passed on in his sleep last Saturday and was buried same day in his home town Okpella, in Edo State, according to Islamic rites.The Fidau prayer will hold at his Surulere, Lagos residence from 10am.
It would be recalled that the late Amodu qualified the Super Eagles for the 2001, and 2010 FIFA World Cups and won two Africa Cup of Nations Bronze Medals, in a four-time stint as coach of the National team.
