Celebrate Me While I'm Alive And Not In Death - John Obuh

290919_John ObuhFormer National Under-17 and Under-20 teams Coach, John Obuh, has advised the NFF and other football authorities in the country to celebrate Coaches and care for them while alive, and not after they are dead.

Obuh, who is currently the head coach of Nigeria's national League side, Kware United, spoke with footballlive.ng on the neglect of coaches and former atheletes whose deaths have drawn sympathy, and more recognition than their life time.
The news of the sudden deaths of former Super Eagles Coaches, Stephen Keshi and Shauibu Amodu, have left Nigeria Football Community in mourning state since last week. The deaths came three days apart.
Besides tributes being paid to the sporting icons, commitments have been made by the NFF, as well as the Federal Government to immortalize them.
John Obuh, believes that it is better they are celebrated while alive than when they leave the 'scene' and cannot tell their own story.
