Pique Saves The Day, As Spain Beat Czech Republic 1 - 0

Gerard Pique heads the ball to score Spain's winner past Czech Republic's Petr Cech
Spain made an unconvincing start to their European Championship defense. Spain's defense started with a match against Czech Republic, in a match that saw the Czechs dominating for the better part of the game, having 72 percent of possession and carving out 18 shots on goal.
Petr Cech, Goalkeeper for Czech Republic is the hero of the match, his brilliant saves helped move the Czech at the pace the match required.

Gerard Pique, however was able to rescue Spain and redeem glory for the Spanish side with a header three minutes from stoppage time.
Though an unconvincing win for Spain, but enough to boost their title challenge.
