Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has been included in Sweden's 35-man provional squad for this year's Olympic Games. The striker who is now a free agent after his current contract expired at Paris Saint-Germain, is currently representing his country at Euro 2016.
Sweden's U-21 coach, Hakan Ericson, admitted that he is not sure Ibrahimovic will play in Rio, but remains hopeful. "He has said he wants to wait to make his decision until after the European Championships" - Ericson said. "There is a little gap and I want to keep it open because it would be fantastic, although my hopes are not huge, but we have hope".
Ibrahimovic will be going as one of the three over-aged players. Sweden are in the same group with Colombia, Nigeria and Japan.
