FA reduces Ikeme's Ban To 2 Matches

The English FA, has decided to reduce goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme's three-match suspension by one game. The goalkeeper who plays for Wolverhampton Wanderers, was handed a three-match ban following the straight red card he received for pushing Norwich City's player Wes Hoolahan, after he accused the player of diving inside the penalty area to deceive the referee.
The FA's decision, was confirmed on it's official website on Tuesday, following an appeal by the Championship side.
The FA statement reads - ''Carl Ikeme's three-match suspension for violent conduct has been reduced to two matches after a claim of excessive punishment was successful''. Prior to the announcement, Ikeme has already apologized to the club's supporters over the incident.
