Manchester United, have record their highest ever revenue, to top football's richest list. The club who hasn't topped too many leagues in the last few years, have come out to show that, although not getting right on the pitch, it's management got everything right outside the pitch, especially in the areas of it's revenues.
The Deloitte's Football Money League table, is based on the measurements of a club's earnings from match-day revenues, broadcast rights and commercial sources, and the clubs are ranked accordingly. These parameters however, do not include incoming or outgoing transfer fees. The present rankings shows Real Madrid in third position, with a similar amount to fellow Spanish club Barcelona, although the Spanish champions have also leapfrogged them to second place on the list. The two clubs are followed by Bayern Munich, and the only other English club in the top five, is Manchester City, with a record earnings of £392.6m.
The English Premier, has eight other teams in the top 20 list, with Arsenal(£350.4m), Chelsea (£334.6m), and Liverpool (£302m), all making it into the top ten, while Tottenham Hotspur (£209.2m), West Ham (£143.8m), and Leicester City (£128.7m) also made the list.
