Barcelona Unveils Academy In Nigeria

The chairman, Lagos State Sports Commission, Deji Tinubu on Tuesday announced that the Government would ensure the smooth operation of FC Barcelona's Academy in Nigeria by supporting it's plans for youths. Tinubu made the promise at the unveiling of the academy, named "FCBESCOLA", which is to sited temporarily at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

Oscar Pistorius has been sentenced to six years in prison for the murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp in 2013.The six-time Paralympic gold medalist was sentenced by a court in Pretoria on Wednesday(Today) morning, having been fund guilty of murdering Steenkamp by an appeal court in December last year.
