Federer Aims For An 18th Grand Slam Title, Wins Cilic To Advance At Wimbledon

Will this be his time ?, this is the ultimate question being asked as Roger Federer makes his way to winning a record 8th Wimbledon title. He staged a dramatic fightback from two sets down to beat Marin Cilic and advance to the Wimbledon semi-finals.

Seven-time champion, Federer saved three match points in the fourth set on Center Court on Wednesday(Today) before coming through 6-6(4-7), 4-6, 6-3, 7-6(11-9), 6-3.
The victory means Federer is the first player to win 307 Grand Slam singles matches, breaking Martina Navratilova's all-time record.
Federer, whose last major triumph, was at the All England Club in 2012, has looked in immaculate form again after an injury-hit start to the year. He has already seen off Argentina's world No 51 Guido Pella, british duo of Marcus Willis and Dan Evans and blew away American Steve Johnson on Monday to reach his 14th Wimbledon quarter-final, showing more than already bulging trophy cabinet.
