Former Super Eagles left-back, Taye Taiwo has slammed his former club; Olympique Marseille. The defender cited poor management on the part of the club's president, as part of the reason why the club has been going backward rather than forward. The 30 year old defender who now plays for Finnish club; Helsingin Jalkapalloklubi says the club's lack of vision in the transfer window is the reason the club currently occupies the 12th position in the Ligue 1 table.
" I am struggling to understand how he makes a call when he signs a player. After two good games, he brings them to Marseille for 17 pounds. It is not possible." He told So Foot"
" You cannot simply let Dimitri Payet go. The same applies to Andre Ayew, Mathieu Valbana or Andre-Pierre Gignac. It doesn't make any sense, added Taiwo who won the French Ligue 1 during his six-year spell at Marseille.
