German side Wolfsburg beat Real Madrid 2-0 in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday night at the Volkswagen Arena.
Ricardo Rodriguez struck a penalty and Maxi Arnold added a second in the first half as they gave themselves a huge advantage at the halfway point in the tie.
The result leaves Zinedine Zidane's side with a real mountain to climb in the second leg at the Bernabeu next Tuesday night.
For Wolfsburg , though it was a glorious night in their first ever meeting with Real and their first ever Champions League quarter-final.
