Use of 4th Substitute During Extra Time From Quarter-Final Round In 2016/17 FA Cup
The FA, has announced that teams can now use a fourth substitute in extra-time from the quarter-final stages of this season's FA Cup. If a team has used three of their normal substitutions after 90 minutes, they will now be permitted to make one extra change if the scores are level at extra time.

A number of new laws, will come into force for the first time in the Premier League when the season kicks off on August 13th. The International Football Association Board (IFAB), announced more than 95 alterations to the laws of the game last season after 18 months of consultations, with many changes already trialed at Euro 2016. Roger Federer, has announced that he will miss next month's Olympic Games, after he underwent further rehabilitation on his knee. The Swiss tennis star, was hoping to add the Olympic singles gold to his impressive CV, but will not get a chance. Federer, who turns 35 on August 8th, released a statement on Tuesday, announcing the end of this year's season for him - "I'm extremely disappointed to announce that I will not be able to represent Switzerland at the Olympic Games in Rio, and that I will miss the remainder of the season" - he said.

Gonzalo Higuain has completed his £75.3m move from Napoli to Juventus - according to Skysports Italy. The Argentine international, signed a four-year contract with the Serie A champions, valued at £6.3m per season. Higuain passed a medical in Madrid of Friday after Juventus agreed to pay the 28-year-old's full release clause - setting a record transfer fee for the Serie A.
FIFA President Proposes Two More World Cup Slots For Africa
FIFA president, Gianni Infantino has said he is trying to lobby for Africa to get more spots at the World Cup. Infantino is proposing for the tournament to be expanded to 40 teams, eight more than the present 32 finalists. He is proposing 7 slots for the Africa continent. "I believe for the 2016 World Cup, we should have 40 teams, and out of the additional eight teams, we should have at least two more African teams " - Infantino said at a media briefing during his two-day working visit to Nigeria on Monday. " We are discussing this, and I hope I will be able to convince everyone as well on the proposal".
Liverpool And Sevilla Fined Over Europa League Final Trouble
Liverpool and Sevilla, have both been fined over crowd trouble during the Europa League final match. Both clubs, were fined by UEFA over the behavior of their supporters during May's Europa League final, ranging from crowd disturbances, an illicit banner, and the setting-off of fireworks at Basel's St Jakob Park.
Liverpool were fined 16,000 euros - around £13,400, and Sevilla 17,000 euros. Sevilla won the game 3-1, to claim a third successive Europa League title.

Johanna Konta Wins First WTA Tour Title
Johanna Konta claimed her first WTA Tour title with a 7-5 5-7 6-2 win over Venus Williams at the Bank of the West Classic in Stanford on Sunday. The British No 1, will rise to the 14th position in the world after sealing victory in two hours and 18 minutes, becoming the first British woman to win this title since Sue Barker in 1977. FIFA President To Visit Buhari On Monday
FIFA president, Gianni Infantrino, is expected in Nigeria this weekend, along with the Secretary General of the World football governing body, Ms Fatima Samba Samoura. Barcelona Seals A £41.7m Deal For Andre Gomes
Barcelona have confirmed that they have struck a deal with Valencia for Portugal Internatuonal, Andre Gomes. The fee for the 22-year-old is believed to be around £41.7m. Gomes, who was also a target signee for both Real Madrid and Manchester United, sealed the deal with Barcelona. Portugal, have won the Euro 2016 after Eder's superb extra-time strike gave them a 1-0 victory over hosts France in Paris, despite Cristiano Ronaldo coming injured in the first-half of the game. Substitute Eder, who came on as a late second-half replacement for Renato Sanches, struck low into the bottom corner past Hugo Lloris from 25 yards to hand Portugal their first-ever major tournament crown in dramatic fashion.
Cristiano Ronaldo who was forced off in the first half, leads the celebrations at the final whistle, as his tears of pain and anguish from earlier, were turned into tears of joy.
