Head coach of Nigeria's U-23 team, Samson Siasia, has admitted that Nigerians will not be interested in anything, if the Dream Team IV does not return with an Olympic Gold Medal in football. Siasia and his boys are currently in the United States of America, as part of the team's preparation for next month's Olympic Games in Rio.
"It is not going to be a walk in the park(to win Olympic Gold). It is going t be a very difficult task. But the thing is that anything short of Olympic Gold is nothing, because nobody will even come and welcome us when we come back without the Gold. It is a difficult one. But we will do the best we can so far these players(confirmed foreign-based stars), are coming. We will know exactly how we playing and that will come out from the players we have".
Nigeria, who are the current African U-23 champions, have been drawn against Japan, Sweden and Colombia in the group stage.
