Crystal Palace, are currently in talks to sign Christian Benteke from Liverpool, according to Sky sources. Palace have returned to the negotiation table after their initial £25m bid was turned down last month. Liverpool, have valued the striker at £32m, and believe that is a fair price, considering the prices currently being paid by Premier League clubs.Over the weekend, Liverpool's coach Jurgen Klopp said that selling Benteke "makes sense", but warned interested clubs against trying to get the 25-year-old on the cheap. Liverpool paid Aston Villa £32.5m for Benteke last summer, but the Belgium International striker started eight Premier League games after Jurgen Klopp replaced Brendan Rogers as manager. It is understood that Liverpool want to recoup the money they paid Villa and are prepared o wait until next summer with the player having four years left on his contract. Palace are however, keen to complete the deal before their first game of the season against West Brom on Saturday.
